Maple Lodge, a single-storey lodge, consists of an open-plan living space with electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dining seating, Smart TV, and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and twin, both with Smart TVs, serviced by a shower room. Outside, there is enclosed, wraparound decking with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet welcome at 25 GBP per week. Sorry, no smoking. Travel cot and highchair available on request. You’ll find a shop and fishing lake on-site, pub in 1.6 miles, canal in 0.5 miles, and river in 1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels inc. In rent. Located in the south of Devon, Kingsteignton is a bustling town which lies at the head of the Teign Estuary. Once renowned to be the largest village in the whole of England, it now stands as a highly populated town council with a strong sense of community amongst the locals. This well kept area boasts attractive traditional cottages, three churches, and a wide selection of shops, both independent and mainstream. The town offers plenty of opportunities to endorse in good food and wines, from inns to cake shops, you'll be sure to find an array of eateries here. Kingsteignton also boasts an array of sporting facilities for all ages to get involved in including its very own bowls clubhouse, a swimming pool, football and judo clubs, and two large playing fields, it's the perfect place to bring the whole family, even including the dog with plenty of lands, a nearby pond , and a local nature reserve to explore. Extremely close to the Newton Abbot race course, Kingsteignton makes a brilliant location for a fun-filled family day out, with its own creche, a variety of events from car boot sales and antiques fairs to its Wellbeing Show, there's plenty to explore here no matter the time of year. The market town of Newton Abbot itself also makes a fun day out for all, in close proximity to Dartmoor National Park, Bradley Manor, and St Leonards Clock Tower, there is plenty of history to explore, as well as the town withholding an array of modern day experiences to get involved in. From the spooky and spectacular Devon Escape, to a multitude of activities held at the Courtenay Centre including fitness, culture, and hobbies, there's something for everyone here. To experience the tourist hotspots of Devon, take a trip to Torquay, a pretty seaside resort with a fantastic coastline nicknamed the 'English Riviera'.
