The property is stunning and the host was kind and clear in her communications. It’s also a beautiful area and the local pub is a gem.

Large converted barn on edge of village. Underfloor heating, wood burner, 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, plenty of space and all the creature comforts! There’s a massive double height sitting room with dining table, and this makes for a great social place, with log burner, tv, puzzles and games and dining table so you can all be together in one room. Parking for 5 cars, fenced garden suitable for toddlers and dogs. Walking distance to our good local pub Two of the rooms with single beds can be made into superkings upon request. PLEASE NOTE: this property is NOT suitable for hen/stag dos or rowdy groups, as it's in a quiet village with elderly neighbours.
I have enjoyed welcoming guests since 2019. I love this area for walking locally and it’s in easy reach of the Brecon Beacons. Every Thursday and most Saturdays there's an award winning market in the middle of Hay on Wye. Great for local produce, Hay has a good butcher and baker and cosy coffee shops. Hay Castle has been renovated and is well worth a visit! It’s a good location for trekking, canoeing on the river wye, cycling, walking and exploring the Black Mountains and the Wye Valley
Lovely rural position on the edge of a village, 6 miles from Hay on Wye on the Welsh border, with easy walking distance to our village pub. 15 miles to Hereford. A quick walk up to Arthur’s Stone before lunch or a browse around Hay at the bookshops and a Shepherds icecream? There’s trekking and mountain bike hire, tennis courts and good golf clubs around here. Most of our guests enjoy good walking, pub meals and spending time together!
