Hello, I'm Nina, I'm one of the owners of Claire Anthony Homes, thanks for checking out our bio and considering one of our holiday rentals for your stay.
We are a small family run company which started with one property and a love of renovation and design. We wanted to share our family holiday house with others and were amazed by the feedback and the number of holidays we were able to host. Especially coming out of lockdown we were able to host so many family reunions and UK staycations. Managing our one property very quickly grew to helping others manage their own properties, and now we have a high-quality selection of homes across the UK, and every month we seem to be growing.
Our focus is always ensuring you have the most enjoyable and hassle-free trip. Our properties are in some of our favourite places, so we have loads of local recommendations for you. We are based in Yorkshire and Glasgow, but we have local teams by each of our properties who are all great and more than happy to help should you need it!

Squirrel’s Leap is a bright and spacious four-bedroom, three-bathroom holiday home sleeping up to nine guests, perfectly positioned overlooking the lake on the sought-after Lower Mill Estate. Ideal for families and friends, this beautiful retreat offers free access to onsite amenities, including an indoor pool and spa. With a fully equipped kitchen, cosy multi-fuel burner, free parking, and a BBQ, plus plenty of activities for children, it’s the perfect UK getaway for relaxation and adventure.

Ground Floor
Kitchen/Dining Area: Electric oven, gas hob, 2 microwaves, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Two dining tables.
Lounge: Two sofas, armchairs, multi-fuel log burner. Sliding door leading out to a decked terrace with stunning lake views.
First Floor
Master bedroom: Super king bed, wardrobe, and en-suite with toilet, sink, bath, and shower overhead. Private balcony.
Bedroom Two: King-sized bed and direct access to a balcony.
Bedroom Three: Two single beds and en-suite with toilet, sink and a bath with shower overhead.
Bedroom Four: Bunk bed and a separate single bed sleeping 3.
Shower Room: Toilet, sink and a single shower cubicle.
Outside:
Squirrel’s Leap offers a tranquil lakeside setting with a fully enclosed decked garden, perfect for unwinding. The outdoor dining area and BBQ make it ideal for al fresco dining in the warmer months.
Parking:
There is an allocated parking space for one vehicle, with overflow car parking nearby. Electric car charging is available on site on a first come first serve basis.
Squirrels Leap is NOT pet friendly. No contractors or business travel permitted.

Please note the Lower Mill Estate is a nature reserve and has strict rules about noise and loud parties. Loud noise is not allowed on the estate after 10pm and this is enforced by security. Stag and Hen parties are not allowed.
The Spa and most other Estate facilities are complementary but please note they are separate entities and not owned or managed by the owner. This means the owner is not responsible or liable if the Spa or other Estate facilities are closed or restricted or unavailable during your stay.
Please note the spa does not provide towels so if you wish to use the spa or pools, please bring towels from home with you. You can book the tennis courts by adding your name to the clipboard by the court.
Squirrels Leap is NOT pet friendly.
Special Requests:
We have a travel cot and highchair on site, please contact us before your trip to arrange the setup. (Travel cot bedding not provided and only a standard travel cot mattress). Stair gates can be provided at request.
