Our quirky rivers edge holiday lodge features a timber interior and boasts a prime position on the River Yare. Nature’s Nook is in an excellent location, in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, perfect for fishing breaks. Wildlife enthusiasts will love watching the river activity and the sunsets are incredible!
Moor your own or hired boat right outside your cosy holiday lodge! Nature’s Nook has the use of a slipway at our marina just minutes away and boat and canoe* hire is possible locally. Don’t forget your kayaks, paddle boards etc. to explore the Norfolk Broads from your decking!
Bedroom 1 - Double Bed
Bedroom 2 – Bunk Bed with single bed over small double.
Bed linen provided.
Bathroom with a shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin.
Hand and bath towels provided for number of guests staying.
Starter toilet roll is provided.
Open plan kitchen/diner/lounge:
Full kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, dining and cooking essentials.
Tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibacterial surface cleaner, hand wash, dishwasher tablets and a starter kitchen roll are provided.
Lounge area with Smart TV & Dining area seating up to 5 guests. The double French doors lead out to the veranda with dining furniture and decking down to the rivers’ edge.
Mooring and Parking:
Private quay headed mooring. Use of slipway on request.
Private Parking x 1 car.
Additional parking is available at our marina just down the road and free of charge to residents – please request.
Dogs - on request 30GBP.

Cot and highchair on request.
Shed with fish bait fridge and 2 x recliner sun loungers.
Fishing is permitted in open season only and a rod permit is required.
Unfenced deep water at the end of the decking.

This quiet and tranquil location is perfect to get into the quieter waters with your own boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board from our slipway. Bring your own boat and moor directly outside. Fishing permitted in season from the garden!
We highly recommend exploring the Norfolk Broads from this idyllic location. Boat hire is available locally and our guests receive discounted rates on Canoe rental – pre booking with a local company is advised.
Situated in the village of Brundall, which has its own railway station, shop/post office, mini-market, hairdresser, Chinese takeaway, Pizza takeaway, fish and chip shop, Indian restaurant, Cafe & bakery and local pubs serving good food.
Quaint towns, villages and beautiful beaches are close by, as are an abundance of family attractions and beauty spots to suit everyone.
The train station is just a stroll from our lodges with links to the fine city of Norwich only 8 miles away, with its excellent shopping, theatre, restaurants, inns, cafés, castle and museum or Great Yarmouth for an ice-cream on the beach and the Pleasure Beach with rides and amusements to keep all with rides and amusements to keep all the family happy.
Explore the surrounding seaside towns and villages, Gorleston-on-Sea, Hemsby, Caister-on-Sea, Winterton, Horsey (seal colony), California, Newport and Hopton-on-Sea, all offering entertainment for a family holiday, as well as the pretty Broadland villages and countryside.
For fun-filled family days out there is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens is worth a visit, as is the village of Strumpshaw with a steam museum and RSPB reserve. For a nostalgic steam train trip from Aylesham to Wroxham, visit Bure Valley Railway. Reedham offers Pettitts Animal Adventure Park. Banham Zoo, Amazonia, BeWilderwood, Roarr Dinosaur Adventure and Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park are close by too.
