Company information

I am a forty something year old Wife and Mum of two. I love baking and you will often find homemade shortbread, rocky road or flapjack in a jar in the guest rooms.....mince pies at Christmas! I also love running (I think I perhaps run so I feel less guilty about eating cake!), completing my first marathon in 2017, if you can't find me in the morning I may have nipped out for a quick 10k! On Monday evenings I help to run 108Mealbank a charity that provides a two course sitdown hot meal for those in our city that are struggling or find themselves in a tough place and need a bit of help. We were awarded best community project in 2018 by CN Group which gave us as volunteers a bit of a boost.

Property information

Rosalind House is a grade 2 listed terraced town house in a conservation area in the great border city of Carlisle. It was built in 1832, my husband and I have lovingly renovated the house (an ongoing task!), retaining the original features but adding a modern décor. We are particularly proud of the original sandstone flagged hallway, which we painstakingly but lovingly sandblasted. We have brought a bit of luxury to this home with underfloor heated en-suite showerooms and top quality beds, bedding and linen. We are so fortunate to be in a fantastic location within walking distance of everything Carlisle has to offer, just off the Hadrian's Wall Path and the Cumbrian Way. We are a also within half an hour drive of the amazing Lake District National Park and some of the best preserved parts of Hadrian's magnificent Wall!
