‘The Stables’ are located up a private drive just outside the village of Sissinghurst in Kent. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen with a comfortable seating area looking out on to the terrace and large private fenced garden. A bathroom with a bath and shower over and a separate toilet. There is also a snug tv room for cosy evenings. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed. The decor is inspired by the beautiful countryside and gardens around us.
Hi, Our family of five and two dogs live at the main property situated in the grounds of Sissinghurst Stables. We love hosting couples and families from around the world and hearing about their adventures while they are here. However we leave you alone if you would rather! We love the countryside just about as much as we do the sea and are often away sailing or racing around the coastline of the UK. We try to keep The Stables an environmentally friendly zone by cutting back on chemical cleaning products and plastic. We hope that you come and stay soon.
Sissinghurst Castle Gardens are just down the road and there are numerous other National Trust and British Heritage properties close by, including Leeds Castle, Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle and Dover Castle. Pashley Manor Gardens and Hole Park. Bedgebury Pinetum is 15 minutes drive and Rye and Camber Sands on the Coast 40 minutes away. Lots to see and do! We have a fantastic local pub ‘The Milkhouse’ a beautiful ten minute walk away, and our local small town Cranbrook is a five minute drive.‘The Stables’ are located up a private drive just outside the village of Sissinghurst in Kent.
