Glenthorne was built by the owner of The Merthyr Brewery in 1889. It was sold to the catholic church in the early 1970's and became St Josephs Convent for the Sisters of Annecy, it remained a convent until 2012 when it was purchased by Claire Harris. Since its purchase the owner has worked hard to renovate it and return it to its former glory.

Bike Park Wales is just a short hop on the A470. A great position to walk, bike ride or tour the beautiful scenery and surroundings. Cardiff, the capital of Wales is just a 40 minute drive. Swansea and The Gower Peninsular just 0 minutes drive away.
