About this property
The iconic ivy-clad Swan Hotel is located on the banks of the River Coln in the heart of Bibury Village. Inside, there are 22 beautifully designed rooms (including 4 stunning Cottage suites) and each one is unique in character and comfortable down to the finest detail with large bathrooms, full-size Molton Brown toiletries and soft, cosy bathrobes to enjoy. The village of Bibury is well-known as the prettiest village in England and The Swan is just a minute’s walk from its most famous sights: Arlingon Row, Bibury Trout Farm and the footbridge. The village is also very well-situated for exploring the wider Cotswolds with Cirencester, Burford and other charming towns nearby. The Swan Hotel offers a selection of dining and drinking options for all which are loved by staying guests and locals alike. Enjoy a casual bite to eat and drink in the stylish bar or courtyard, take Afternoon Tea in the charming and homely Library, or relax with your favourite tipple in the private riverside gardens where you’ll probably spot a few ducks, swans and fish! For a more sophisticated bite to eat, the Swan Brasserie is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving a seasonal menu including the very local Bibury trout!
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.4 for a two-person trip.
