The Highlander is a house consisting of a kitchen with electric oven/grill, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher, a dining room with seating for four people, a sitting room with Smart TV and electric fire, and a conservatory. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and twin bed serviced by a ground-floorshower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair available. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and furniture, and roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. The picturesque village of Dornie sits amidst the stunning West Highland countryside, just nine miles from the bustling village of Kyle of Lochalsh. The village itself, a walker’s paradise, offers good amenities including a village shop, a local pub and numerous walking and cycling opportunities, with stunning views of the coastline and mountainous regions beyond to be enjoyed. Nearby Kyle of Lochalsh, known as the gateway to the Isle of Skye, offers a range of shops, hotels and restaurants and boasts a busy harbour that plays host to a variety of cargo, fishing and occasional passenger vessels. Nearby Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland's most famous and popular sights, is perched at the end of a stone causeway on the shores of Loch Duich, whilst further south is the Glenelg Peninsula, a tranquil backwater, which is beautiful, remote and relatively undiscovered.
