About this property
The Ness House Hotel is a Georgian property, built in 1810, on the outskirts of Shaldon village overlooking the Teign Estuary and only a stone’s throw from the beach. 20 yards away the Smugglers Tunnel can be found, leading you down to the secluded Ness Beach, sheltered by the Ness Cliff. There is a ferry which runs between Teignmouth and Shaldon and fishing at the mouth of the estuary is popular year round. The Ness House offers award winning Badger cask ales, lagers from around the world and a menu full of fresh, seasonal dishes cooked by our team of talented chefs, using quality ingredients from our regional food partners. We aim to make your day, whether it be a slight change to your meal, making a celebration extra special or simply providing you with an extra pillow. We take real pleasure in making your visit memorable from family holidays to spontaneous romantic getaways. Ness House boasts 9 En-Suite rooms with WiFi access and stunning sea views available. Some rooms are pet-friendly. All rates are per room, per night and include breakfast and free car parking.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.7 for a two-person trip.
