The Nook is a converted stable block dating back to 1812 we have tried to retain most of the unique features while making it a cosy place to stay. There is plenty of parking and we are dog friendly for up to two well behaved dogs we DO NOT accept any other pets apart from dogs. We are close to Foxton Locks, Market Harborough, Uppingham, Oakham etc. There are plenty of lovely walks close to the property. We have been open as a place to welcome guests for over 10 years now. If before or during your stay you need something then we are always happy to oblige if we can

We love having people to stay and love hearing about all our guests stories etc. We have up to 8 horses here of varying ages all Haflingers and we are a carriage driving and breeding stud. My husband also collects classic cars and our son in law is a wine merchant so we always have an excellent collection of wines on offer for sale

We are located in South Leicestershire on the borders of Northamptonshire and Rutland. Our local small town is Market Harborough which offers a wealth of shops and wonderful rural locations to walk and cycle being part of the Leicester Round. We have Foxton Locks on our doorstep and Burghley House is about 30 mins away.
