Nestled in the valley of the Rutland countryside, our huts sit on our secure, gated beautiful estate boasting 31 acres with plenty of space and 4 lakes. Feel free to roam around the private lakes, use the local footpaths, have a drink at the local award winning pub or sit and enjoy the view from your very own open air bathtub. Our beautiful 20ft huts have everything you will need for a luxury stay, weather it be a night or a few. We currently have 2 Shepherd Huts onsite the estate both sitting on their own little plots with stunning views across the lakes and the Rutland valley. With its own open-air bathtub outside, feel free to enjoy a hot bubble bath whilst overlooking the beautiful scenery. The lakes are home to wild Geese, Moorhens & swans - often with chicks each year. Feel free to wander the lakes and see if you can spot any of our wonderful trout and carp. - Sleeps 2 (we have 2 huts available so please do ask if you would like to book both and we can direct you). - 1 cabin bedroom (double bed), 1 en-suite bathroom with enclosed shower and hand held shower. - Private secure parking. - Patio area overlooking the fields, lakes and valley. - Wood fire pit. - Outdoor dining table. - Bed linen, bath towels & tea towels provided. - Hairdryer. - Pull out table for dining - Welcome pack: tea, coffee & sugar - Bathroom starter pack: hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo & body wash. - Smart TV - Fully equipped kitchen with toaster, kettle, utensils, glassware inc. wine glasses, champagne flutes and tumblers. Hi! We are Gemma & Simon, and we have been renting properties for over 10 years, both short term tenancies and holiday lets. They range from Norfolk, to Rutland and as far as Portugal! We have recently moved to our beautiful estate in the stunning county of Rutland and we are able to share it with you! We currently have 2 Shepherd huts on site available for holiday lets. We also reside in he main house so you may see us around.
Ketton is a village in Rutland in the East Midlands of England. It is about 5 miles east of Rutland Water and 3 miles (5 km) west of Stamford, Lincolnshire. The village has a post office and general store, a library, two pubs (the Railway Inn and the Northwick Arms - currently closed), a sports centre, a playschool and a Church of England primary school. The village has two churches (Church of England and Methodist).
