About this property
Thyme is nestled in the rolling Cotswolds hills creating a home away from home: a place to slow down, take Thyme and reconnect with nature. The estate is connected by winding gravel pathways where you'll find 17th century houses and cottages with meticulously-restored agricultural barns, all enveloped in a pristine 150-acre estate. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in their Ox Barn restaurant, and The Swan, their village pub, is open from Wednesday through to Sunday. Refreshments are available in their Baa, an elegant and cosy space where guests can enjoy a coffee and light lunch during the day or a botanical cocktail in the evening. Free private parking and free Wi-Fi are available at the property. Thyme's botanically inspired bedrooms are dispersed across houses and cottages, forming a peaceful hamlet environment with gravel pathways to lead you through the gardens. Each room comes with a coffee machine and welcome goodies for guests to enjoy during their stay. A private bathroom with toiletries from their sister brand, Bertioli, is provided in every room, and a bath or shower is also provided. Guests have access to the hotel's communal spaces, including their exhibition space, the Tithe Barn, the Baa Bar, and the Orchid House, the poolhouse which is open seasonally during the summer months when the outdoor pool is open for guests. Garden and History Tours are available at the property, please check their Calendar of Happenings to see when the tours are scheduled to take place. The Cookery School at Thyme offers both private classes alongside a scheduled programme which is part of their Calendar of Happenings. Thyme's spa, the Meadow Spa, is an idyllic haven of peace and tranquility, nurturing beauty from within. They offer a range of rejuvenating treatments in the Meadow Cottage and the Botanical Bothy: a space designed in conjunction with their Bertioli breathing and bathing collection. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where the Cotswold hills rise up from the Thames. Thyme is surrounded by beautiful and historic English countryside, and an array of enchanting places to visit and things to do; from a game of tennis on their court, bicycles to borrow for a ramble around their estate, or croquet on the Farmhouse lawn, there are many wonderful ways to enjoy your time.
