We are a holiday cottage agency based in the North Pennines, we have nearly 30 beautiful cottages to chose from set between Weardale in County Durham all the way to Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland. Most of our cottages accept pets, we can offer cycle hire and private fishing too. You can visit us on our website.

Spacious Family Cottage with Extensive Gardens and Meadows
On the ground floor, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen/diner complete with a dishwasher and all the self-catering facilities you need to prepare meals during your stay. Adjacent is a conservatory housing a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There are two living rooms offering plenty of comfortable seating, a TV, a wide selection of books and board games for cozy indoor evenings, and a welcoming log-burning stove to keep you warm on chilly nights. Plus, there’s a dedicated dog room for your furry friends.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms:
Bedroom One with a double bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom Two with a double bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom Three with two single beds (sleeps 2)
The family bathroom and a separate toilet complete the upper floor.
Step outside to enjoy extensive mature gardens and 8 acres of private meadows, surrounded by a strip of established woodland—perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor fun. Dogs are welcome to explore the grounds too.

West Twice Brewed is located near Bardon Mill within Northumberland. You can begin many walks or cycle routes from the doorstep if you like the outdoors and the military road provides easy access to the historical sites of Hadrian’s Wall, Vindolanda, House Steads and the Sill, which are all located within a few miles of the cottage. Next door to West Twice Brewed is The Twice Brewed Inn where you can enjoy a refreshing beverage, they also serve delicious food.
Due to its border location, Cumbria, Northumberland and Durham are within easy reach, making this an ideal base to get out and explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles, and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Haltwhistle town centre has a great selection of shops including small supermarkets, butchers, chemist, antique shop, florist, solicitors, estate agents, building society, post office van, library, sports centre and swimming pool, a cottage hospital and doctors’ surgery. There is also a good selection of take away food venues, cafes, local Inns and restaurants.
Haltwhistle prides itself on being the 'Centre of Britain', this small market town is well served by a range of local shops, transport links and excellent pubs. There are 3 castles within a few miles of Haltwhistle; Blenkinsopp and Bellister are ruins, but the 14th Century Thirlwall Castle is well-preserved and worth a visit. Five miles away are the Roman Forts of Housteads and the Vindolanda site, the best-preserved Roman camps on Hadrian's Wall.
