AKNATO, in the genuine Lefkadian dialect, with the authenticity of the tradition of our island, our space was built in the early 20th century (1926), made of stone, wood and glass. The renovation of the house was completed this year with full respect for tradition, using the same building materials and techniques while retaining its basic architecture slightly influenced by modern trends. In this environment we have tried to integrate the comforts of our time and today we have it in mind to serve the uniqueness of your holiday. On our ground floor there is a fully equipped modern kitchen, a bathroom with a washing machine and a large living room with two sofa beds (a bedding set), a 55 'TV and an air conditioner. Through a metal - wooden staircase we move to the first floor where there is a bedroom that opens out to a balcony with a private bathroom, a second bedroom with a private bathroom and a kitchenette. Each room has 32 ' TV and an air conditioning, while all openings have screens. At the level of the floor there is a two-level courtyard
The home I have, with all due respect, is my father's house where I grew up, where I raised and raised my family, where the memories and experiences of 70 years are kept. So I welcome you to this house in the hope that it will be a comfortable and pleasant stay for you on our island and then a beautiful memory.
Our house is in the village Vlycho on the east side of Lefkada is situated between the mountain Amali and homonym bay, which according to the archaeologist William Dorpfeld, supporter of the view that the Homeric Ithaca is current Lefkada, was the port of Odysseus . Vlycho located 2 km. From Nidri, 18 km. From the city of Lefkada and approximately 20km. the Basilica, just 2.3 km. is the Staple beach and 5 km beautiful beach "Passas" Perigiali. Opposite Vlycho is the settlement of Geni at the end of which stands the church of St. Sunday (visible from Nidri) which one can visit on foot via a beautiful trail. On the way to the church we find the tomb of William Dorpfeld
