We are Maria & George, a couple, owning and running the Guesthouse Archontiko since 2014. We like to treat our guests with genuine Greek Filoxenia, so when they leave, they have a story to remember from their visit. Come and meet us in Archontiko.

Guesthouse Archontiko is a traditional guesthouse right in the middle of village Anavryti, located in 900m altitude. The building was built in 1932 to be the house-mansion of the doctor of the village. It was renovated in 2013 and changed to become a cozy, comfortable Guesthouse. Our rooms offer unique view, from the balconies, to Sparte. Each room is equipped with a queen size bed, safe, hair dryer and everything you will need for a pleasant stay. Anavryti is located in 900m altitude and you arrive to the village via a steep ascending road, with view to Sparte. The route from Sparte to the village is 15km and it takes about 24minutes. From here you can also visit Mystras via Agios Ioannis – Parorio – Mystras (14km – 20minutes). As the Guesthouse is built in the middle of a traditionally preserved village, there is no access by car. You will have to park your car 60m away, next to the road, then follow the cobblestone pedestrians road and steps to Archontiko.

Guesthouse Arhontiko is located in a quiet neighbourhood, at the center of the village Anavryti, just next to the central orthodox church. The access is via old cobbled road, traditionally restored. As the building is located at the higher area of the village, you can enjoy the view to the surrounding nature.

Kindly note that in order to reach Archontiko you have to drive through a steep, uphill road of the mountain Taygetos for about 24 minutes. There is also a cobbles street from the parking lot to the property's entrance.

Kindly note that check-in starts at 2 pm. In case of an earlier arrival, you are kindly requested to contact the property in advance as the front desk does not operate 24/7.
