The villa has a beautiful large terrace with outstanding scenic views of Lake Kournas.
Kavalos is small village habited by local families and family owned restaurants. A short walk to the lake and can join tourist train to Georgioupolis where there is a pretty square and restaurants. Horse riding can be booked easily from the villa. Watersports including paddle boarding and pedalos are on the Lake to hire and see local wildlife and pretty pottery shops.
English owned family run business with excellent Cretan staff on hand to help locally.
