Mr. Takis' historic home is located on the shoreline of Kapsali, with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean. It's a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a large living room area and kitchen. It has a simple and traditional decor, allowing you to experience Kythira the way locals live, while also having the best view on the island. It sits under the Venetian Castle, up the quiet end of Kapsali, offering you the tranquility of the beach, and yet close to the cafes, restaurants and bars.

I am writer based in Kythira, Greece. I love to read, discover the wonders of history and culture, and to share my passion of my ancestral home. With my wife, we work in restoring traditional homes in Kythira and look after the management of them. My partner, Carla, is also a creative soul, who dabbles in sewing and other for-purpose work. Kapsali is the jewel of Kythira, crowned by a Venetian Castle high above it. The bay is protected from the strong winds and is a pleasure to swim in at anytime of the day. There are water sports and beach beds, plenty of cafes, restaurants and a few bars. Luckily, Mr. Takis' home is up the quiet end of Kapsali beach, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the sea, while also being close enough to walk to the exciting parts. A perfect in between, sitting on the balcony and staring out at Hydra will instantly calm you.
