""Chez", means the "home" or "at"' in French. Sé is short for Séamus, an Irish language name. So, Chez Sé means the home of Séamus. Both words have the same pronunciation. The attraction of Chez Sé is the unique "home from home" feel of this place to stay. Those familiar with the expression "you are in your granny's" will know what I mean. It is something we strive to achieve and nothing is too much trouble. Tea/coffee is available free on request including little treats on occasion. Only 25 minutes from Dublin Airport, we are located on the outskirts of Drogheda approx. 2 km from the center with great eateries and pubs nearby. So, to avoid the anonymity of a hotel, come to your granny's and feel at home! We are frequently complimented on our breakfast and wifi is free. And for those visiting Brú na Bóinne/ Newgrange, tickets must be purchased on the internet up to 30 days in advance. I am grateful to have met the guests who stayed to date and I have been lucky with what has been achieved.
