Right in the centre of Westport, this family-run hotel boasts bright, elegantly decorated rooms and free guest access to the leisure centre next door. Guests can enjoy hearty, full Irish breakfasts and spa therapies. With satellite TV, each warmly furnished room at Clew Bay Hotel offers free tea and coffee for guests. There is a private bathroom in each room, along with a hairdryer. Some rooms also feature wheelchair access. Madden’s Bistro serves traditional roast dinners, seafood, and European dishes in stylish surroundings. Madden’s Bar includes attractive stained glass windows with a cocktail menu and 2 large-screen plasma TVs showing live sport. Guests enjoy free access to Westport Leisure Park located next to the hotel and featuring a 25-metre swimming pool, a sauna, and a steam room. Guests can exercise in the fitness suite or enjoy the plunge pool. Westport House and Country Park is located 6km from Clew Bay Hotel, while plenty of scenic hiking can be enjoyed in the local area and on the Great Western Greenway, a 42 km off-road cycle path from Westport to Achill Island.
