We are 3 mins drive from centre of monaghan town. Four seasons hotel westenra hotel and hillgrove all just a few minutes. Also Glaslough village and the fab Castle Leslie Estate is short drive. For me 11 mins.. for guests maybe few mins more. There is so much to see and do here... and monaghan allows you easy access to Dublin, Belfast &north west Donegal. Also Newgange megalithic tombs are just easy hour drive. Also the forgotten village of Mullan.. now being lovingly restored by a local man... just 5 mins from emyvale or Glaslough or 15 mins from monaghan. Great pubs, hotels, restaurants, nightlife should you wish for some nocturnal fun... Monaghan is not quite the centre of tourism hub in Ireland, however it has stunning farmlands, fun people and warm hospitality abounds. Nature walks, rivers and lakes.
