Nead na bhFáinleog (Swallows’ Nest) consists of a kitchen with an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker, a living/dining room, and a sitting room with a Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms include two doubles, a ground-floor double with en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a twin, along with a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn and furniture, and off-road parking for four cars and a boat on a trailer. Within 3 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.9 miles a pub, and within 1.1 miles a lake. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Situated on the southern shores of sheltered Cleggan Bay, some 7 miles from Clifden, the picturesque village of Cleggan, County Galway, is both the centre of the sea fishing industry in north Connemara and the ferry port for the beautiful Inishbofin Island. The island, located 6 miles out into the Atlantic Ocean, is renowned for its fantastic beaches and scenery and is a haven for walkers, divers and birdwatchers. Boats for deep sea angling are also available for hire from the village. Just to the east of Cleggan, there is an amazing collection of prehistoric monuments including tombs, standing stones and pre-bog field walks. Cleggan is also well-situated for exploring this wonderful region with Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and the vibrant town of Clifden, County Galway, all just 7 miles away. Take a day trip to the Aran Islands to experience their unique landscape and fascinating culture and tradition or, alternatively, visit the bustling town of Westport, County Mayo which is easily accessible by car.
