This house is in a very quiet setting in the countryside. There are views down to Lahinch beach on one side of the house and countryside surrounds the rest. It is a beautiful place to rest and rejuvenate during your travels. The house is named Suaimhneas, (pronounced soo-iv-naas), and it means Serenity/Tranquility.
The dogs will greet you like long lost friends. None of the animals have access to any of the rooms nor are they allowed.
I live here with my very friendly dogs & my 2 cats We all love being here as it is so beautiful and relaxed. I walk on Lahinch beach every day with my dogs and then they hang out here with me whilst I am working on the garden! After a long day I will watch some TV but I am happiest going to bed with a good book.
This place is in the middle of the countryside with only a couple of houses down the small road that leads to the house. It is only 8 minutes to Lahinch town where you will find plenty of places to eat and drink. You will find live music in some of the pubs. It is 15 kilometers to the Cliffs of Moher and then another 3 kilometers will have you in Doolin. In Doolin there are also plenty of wonderful places to eat. From here you can also get the ferry to the Aran Islands. There are also the Doolin caves which are worth a visit. If you are travelling to Galway either on your way to Clare or afterwards then you should ensure that you travel through the Burren as you won't be disappointed. The easiest way to find it is by entering V95 R99E into Google maps and the directions will bring you straight here.
