We've drawn from Japanese design principles — clean lines, calm materials, and a layout that feels simple but intentional. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat in the Burren to write, explore, or just do nothing at all, I hope The Lantern gives you the same sense of peace and clarity it’s given me. Located near Ballyvaughan, this self-catering accommodation in County Clare places you amidst the natural beauty of the Burren, with easy access to beaches, sea swims, and scenic walks.
We're excited to have you stay! I work as a composer living in the Village of Ballyvaughan, and I'm very proud to show off the beautiful area I'm from. I can give you all sorts of recommendations, so don't be afraid to ask!
Ballyvaughan is located on Galway Bay, and is a perfect gateway to the Burren. There's some amazing food places, so fantastic bars, and is world famous for the beautiful hikes in the area.
