This Cottage Mews is an old Converted Farm out building, with all modern conviences and only recently compleated to offer our guests a high standard of comfort and relaxation during their stay. It is very comfortable,complete with high end furnishings and laid out as a family or group retreat to chill, relax and unwind in the house. Maybe having dinner with friends at the unique and bespoke kitchen Dining Table or taking a dip in the outside Hot Tub (real not an inflatable), or perhaps enjoying a BBQ or a meal at the south facing patio, over a vino, which enjoys views of Mount Gabriel where you can watch the sun sets. As this property is located uniquely, Ann does not wish to take Hen or Stag Bookings, as the property is not suitable for this purpose.
As a host Ann likes to inform her Guests personally of all aspects of the home and likes to meet her guests personally to explain the surrounding features such as Trips, Churches, Restauraunts, Bars, Golfing , Sailing, fishing & Shopping etc. Ann believes your Privacy is vital during your stay, but is on call to assist in anyway possible to arrange any thing you may require during your stay. If a Guests needs catering facilities or initial grocery Shopping during the stay..... Its only a phone call to arrange and quotes can be given seperately for this. Anns mantra is to allow the guests privacy, and create a relaxed chilled space for conversation, music and wine and leave traditional quant values live again for the duration of your stay. Its the moments that count and as the great Cuban Poet Cesare Pavese said " We do not remenber the days, but only the moments." that is what the Mews is all about ...........
The house is located on several walkways and an area of stunning natural beauty with sea views. It is a 4 minute drive to the old Beautiful village of Ballydehob, which has all the necessary facilities, Petrol Station, Grocery Shopping, Pubs, Cafes & Restauraunts ( which include a Michelin Star Restauraunt and the infamous Levis Music Bar. The nearby village of Schull is 4KM to the west, which is an old Fishing Village and now a national sailing Hub for the summer months. The town of Schull also has several Bars and Restauraunts with elegant shopping. As an Option the much larger towns of Bantry and Skibbereen are only a 15 Minute drive away, While Cork City is just over an Hour's drive so ideally suited to a day trip. The internationally renowened Towns of Kenmare and Killarney in County Kerry are with driving distance also. The town of Ballydehob is alive with Music and festivals for the summer with a very lively music and night life to contrast with the sleepy days on the many nearby beaches.
