Tigh Cladach is located between the coast & the mountains, a 20 minutes’ drive to Cahersiveen & 1km to Kells beach. We have a living room with a sofa, fireplace & flat-screen TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & microwave. We offer barbecue facilities. We have three cosy bedrooms. Featuring a garden & there is ample parking space.
Overlooking Dingle Bay with Kells Lough in the background; a patio at the back & views of sea & surrounding mountains. You can enjoy the lovely surrounding County Kerry hills & coast. We offer all you need for a comfortable holiday.
Kells Beach, one of Kerry's Blue Flag beaches, is a lovely sandy beach with a small harbour. It is an idyllic spot. It is small & sheltered with many rock pools to explore.
Nearby attractions include Kells Bay House & Gardens, (18 hectares of sub-tropical gardens. Well worth a visit & has a Thai Restaurant), a visit to Skelligs Chocolate factory and trips to Skelligs Rock can be arranged from May to September. Rossbeigh Beach, 12 Km away, is a lovely long sandy beach ideal for family days out, horse trekking, long walks & water sports. For avid golfers, Dooks & Waterville are both half an hour away.
Kells is a fishing village situated halfway between Glenbeigh & Cahersiveen. It is quiet & peaceful. There are beautiful views of Dingle bay & the Blasket Islands. If you like hill walking, a stage of the "Kerry Way" route passes here, an ideal days activity.
Close by is Kells Bay House & Gardens, beautiful sub-tropical gardens. Rossbeigh Beach, 12 Km away, a long sandy beach, ideal for family days out, horse trekking, long walks & water sports. There is a children's playground & ample parking. Dooks Golf Club is a Links course; it has a charming clubhouse & bar.
As part of the Wild Atlantic Way, the Ring of Kerry & the Kerry Way walking route are the Kerry tourist trails-the mystical & unspoilt region of Ireland that has attracted visitors for hundreds of years. Derrynane & Caherdaniel have spectacular views. A visit to the outstanding Skelligs Rock must be booked in advance. Close to Portmagee village where you board the boat to the Skelligs, a visit to the Skelligs Chocolate factory is a must. Tasty chocolate & amazing views make it worthwhile.
The closest restaurant is Lynches at Kells beach and Kells House Thai Restaurant. The closest pub is Caitín Baiters just 4Km away.
