Hello, I’m Bethz. Originally from France, I’ve hosted guests in Jerusalem since 2019 and manage several apartments in the city centre. I love sharing local tips. I reply to messages within an hour from 07:00 to 23:00 and can be reached by phone 24/7 for emergencies. I speak English, Hebrew and French, and I live only ten minutes away if you ever need help in person.

Property information

Bright 50 m² one-bedroom apartment with a private west-facing terrace overlooking Mahane Yehuda Market. Third-floor unit (elevator) with fast 100 Mbps fibre Wi-Fi, in-unit washer–dryer and smart-lock self check-in. Bedroom has two 90 cm beds that convert to a king; living room sofa-bed sleeps two more. Full kitchen with Nespresso, oven and microwave. Guests love the sunset views, the 1-minute stroll to the market’s street-food stalls and the tram stop right downstairs—ride to the Old City in ten minutes. Shabbat-friendly amenities include plata, Kumkum urn, programmable light timer and a Shabbat elevator that stops on our floor. Balcony can host a sukkah on request.

Neighbourhood information

Mahane Yehuda is Jerusalem’s beating heart by day and its open-air bar scene by night. Step outside the building and you’re in the market’s maze of spices, baklava stalls and craft-beer pubs. The light-rail stop 50 m away links you to the Old City walls in 10 minutes and Yitzhak Navon train station in 5 minutes, making airport transfers easy. A five-minute walk south brings you to Jaffa Street’s boutiques and street musicians; ten minutes north is the Nachlaot quarter, known for its 19th-century lanes and synagogues. Culture lovers can reach the Israel Museum and the Knesset in fifteen minutes by bus, while the Tower of David Night Spectacular is a tram ride away. Need essentials? A 24-hour supermarket, pharmacy and ATM sit on the next block, and dozens of cafés serve breakfast until noon. The neighbourhood is safe, well lit and active late into the evening, so solo travellers feel comfortable coming home after a night out.
