Nothing happens when you first drive the 8-odd kilometres from the Shornur railway station in Kerala towards this charming two-bedroom villa in Painkulam village; when you go down the slightly winding road and open the large green gates that lead to this house built in laterite with a tiled roof; or even when you enter the mud-finished morning room cum kitchen! Nothing happens other than a quiet peace that takes over, forcing you to slow down, stay silent and simply stare. NOTE: Don't forget to say hello to our two beloved pet dogs, Savitri and Tamara, who roam the grounds with wagging tails and open hearts, ready to welcome you with love.

Painkulam is a village in Kerala, South India. The house is located on a 1-acre property. Only three other houses nearby.
