Its a duplex situated amidst the lush green coffee estates in Coorg. Away from the hustle-bustle of the cities, it forms an ideal place for those arriving from the urban jungles. If you are lucky enough you can witness wild animals like Elephants, peacocks, Giant Malabar Squirrels etc. roaming around the estate in close proximity.
Outside exposure is hard to come by in this charming but rustic place, hosting has been a way to meet new people from different parts of the world. Getting to know their culture & to share the rich traditions of ours (Kodavas) with them has been a rewarding experience. In my free time I also enjoy baking, Wine-making & essentially exploring new recipes.
There are a lot of local attractions near the place of stay. The following are to name a few : - Trekking - Estate Walks - River Rafting (Dubare) - Boating (Dubare) - Elephant interaction (Dubare) - ATV ride - Horse riding (Dubare) - Sight Seeing - Fishing - Antique Car Museum - Buddhist Monastery (Namdroling Monastery Golden Temple) - Tibetan camp (Shopping/cuisines) - Deer park (Nisaragadhama) - Scenic Waterfalls (Irpu/Chelavara/Abbey etc.) - Jeep Safari at Rajeev Gandhi National Park - Nagarhole (Seasonal)
