Granastaðir Guesthouse in Útkinn, Þingeyjarsveit, is about 40 km from Húsavík. If you are driving from Húsavík on road 85, you turn into road no 851 after crossing the bridge over Skjálfandafljót. Drive 9 km on road 851 and the destination is reached.
Granastaðir Guesthouse offers accommodation with made beds in two double/twin rooms with private bathrooms and suite with two bedrooms in a different house across the parking lot. The guesthouse is surrounded by beautiful nature in the Icelandic countryside. There is plenty of parking space by the house, free of charge.
The owners of Granastaðir Guesthouse, Svana and Addi, aim to welcome their guests with a warm and friendly service. They live on the upper floor of the guesthouse so they are always available if the guests need anything during their stay. The guests are welcome to walk around the land and explore the beautiful surroundings. There is a beautiful waterfall behind the guesthouse as well as mountains and the sea is very close by. Granastaðir Guesthouse is the perfect place for people to relax and enjoy after a day of travels.
Granastadir guesthouse is a small guesthouse located between Húsavík and Akureyri in a peaceful and beautiful environment Útkinn, Thingeyjarsveit. Only 39 km/30 min. drive to Húsavík and 72 km/45 min. drive to Akureyri.
