The house was built in 1947 and it is in renovation.
On the first floor lives the family of the host Veronique and on the second floor is the guesthouse Hateigi.
There is a private entrance for the guesthouse.
I am the mother of 3 kids and i work in the kindergarden.
I am happy to welcome traveller in my home and share about the beautiful iceland.
I would like that my guest fell like at home when they stay with us.
Þykkvibær is an old village where it is realy good to live.
People are friendly and the countryside is quiet and relax.
There is an area for kids and a campingsite during the summer.
