Welcome to the Little Diamond Cabin - A tiny retreat in nature, designed for rest, retreating in nature, and simplicity. Our small but charming 15 m2 cabin is perfect for solo travellers or a couple. Nestled in the middle of nature, yet still part of our property, the cabin feels very private, with a private road and parking. You’ll have beautiful views over the sea and the majestic Snæfellsjökull Glacier, and on clear nights, the northern lights often dance above.

We are Bjarney, from Iceland and Manuel, from Mexico. We are currently living on a farm in Hvalfjarðarsveit, Iceland. We are really enjoying the experience of hosting and welcoming guests to our lovely spaces. We love travelling and have visited quite a lot of places together, usually choosing to stay with Airbnb hosts, through which we have understood what is expected from a great stay. So our aim as hosts is to provide to you the best experience we can.

While the cabin is surrounded by peaceful nature, there are a few local spots worth visiting: Akranes: Guðlaug swimming pool – relax in the hot tubs and sauna after a day of sightseeing. Galito – a cozy café and restaurant known for its friendly atmosphere and tasty meals. Scenic seaside walks and the lighthouse. Borgarnes: Café Kyrrð – Our favorite local café! Perfect for coffee, homemade cakes, or a light lunch with a view of the harbor. Settlement Center museum – explore Iceland’s fascinating history. Stroll along the harbor or pick up groceries and local treats. Nature & Sightseeing Snæfellsnes Peninsula – often called “Iceland in Miniature”: glaciers, lava fields, black sand beaches, waterfalls, and picturesque fishing villages. Don’t miss Snæfellsjökull National Park. Local hiking trails, fjords, rivers, and birdwatching opportunities. On clear nights, watch the northern lights from the cabin — with no light pollution, it’s a truly magical experience.
