THE PROPERTY:
Warm and welcoming country house with a small garden and a breathtaking view over Langhe and Monferrato hills, declared a UNESCO Human Heritage site - ideal for 2-3 people. Located in the centre of the charming village of Calamandrana Alta, a couple of steps away from the town’s castle, adjacent to a free car park.
The house, approximately 60 sqm - very bright and fully furnished, extends over three storeys. Two flights of terracotta and wood stairs lead to first and second floor.
GROUND FLOOR: Main entrance | Fully-equipped kitchen with appliances and utensils (also including gas stove, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, capsule coffee machine, American coffee maker, crockery, pots, pans) and dining area | Direct access to the little patio and garden.
FIRST FLOOR: Living room refurbished with a couch (convertible in single bed), two vintage armchairs, round table with chairs and panoramic view.
SECOND FLOOR: Bedroom with double bed (convertible in twin beds) and small panoramic terrace | Bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
OUTDOOR FEATURES: The small garden is ideal for dining, reading, relaxing, enjoying the great views, living close to nature. The place provides peace and quiet | The outdoor area is equipped with deckchairs and sunshade to shield the sun on warm summer days, a table under the jasmine pergola for al fresco dining.
The house can host up to 3 guests with this accommodation: bedroom -> double bed, convertible in twin beds (+ travel crib on request); living room -> sofa bed for 1 person. Considering the peculiar staircase, to guarantee maximum security, we advise access to children aged 4+ or babies who still cannot walk or crawl.
This is a PRIVATE RENTAL FOR TOURISTIC PURPOSE according to Italian Law No 431 of 1998. At the check-in time is due to sign the rental agreement for touristic use. During the stay the host will not provide food, beverages and daily cleaning of the house.

Calamandrana Alta is a great starting point for visiting the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato area, declared in 2014 a UNESCO Human Heritage site for its vineyard landscapes: surrounded by beautiful and carefully cultivated hillsides, antique towns, castles, ect.
Beautiful winegrowing sites of Piemonte that bear testimony to a deep and long-established relationship between man and his natural environment.
These areas are well known for excellent wine production of international quality such as: Barbera d’Asti and Il Nizza, Asti Spumante, Barolo and Barbaresco.
Nonetheless Piemonte has also a great cooking tradition, strong flavours and delicate pleasures of old recipes. A territory that offers tasty meals, typical products and plates based on local produce.
For sport lovers the place is ideal for awesome bike, running and hiking routes through Langhe and Monferrato.There’s plenty to do nearby: visit wine producers, taste local cuisine, sport (yoga, swimming pools, nordic walking, golf, tennis, quad tours, horse-riding, kart, bike, running, hiking), spa and thermal treatments, antique markets, shopping (Serravalle Designer Outlet / Mondovicino Outlet Village).
