The city Levanto, in the province of La Spezia, overlooking the Gulf of Poets, is located a few kilometers from the famous Cinque Terre, as to be called “the door of the Cinque Terre .”The proximity to the five villages of ligurian tourism paradise, gives it a similar geography, a coast overhanging the sea with terraces planted with olive trees, lemon trees and vineyards and the characteristic dry stone walls. The Gulf of La Spezia on which Levanto is clinging, is a wide and deep inlet on the coast of the Ligurian Sea, located at the eastern end of Liguria and takes its name from the city of La Spezia, situated in the bottom of the magnificent bay. This beautiful bay, just to the natural charm of its shores, is also called the Gulf of Poets. The wide bay is one of the largest beaches in the area and today it is a popular destination for both surfers and beach-life lovers.
