Located in the heart of the Navigli District, this neighborhood is renowned for its bohemian atmosphere and liveliness.
Piazza XXIV Maggio is the main square, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and trendy bars. We recommend an evening stroll or a dinner at one of the many restaurants along the Navigli and a boat trip to explore the Darsena and canals. The atmoshere is charming and unique.
Other things to do in the sourrandings:
- Mercato Metropolitano: If you are a food lover, this is the place for you. Here you will find a wide selection of local and international products, and a lively and convivial atmosphere.
- Corso di Porta Ticinese, Via Torino and Duomo: From Piazza XXIV Maggio, you can walk up to the Duomo (about a 20-minute walk) via the most famous shopping streets and the renowned 'Colonne di San Lorenzo'.
- Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie: If you are interested in art and history, don't miss this wonderful Renaissance church and Leonardo da Vinci's 'The Last Supper' (reservation required).
