The house where you are staying was built in the 1940s by great-grandfather Andrea and originally consisted of a small bedroom, a living room and a kitchenette. The terrace with a view of the bay of Marina Piccola already existed: and it was precisely with that terrace, the tranquility of the place about seventy steps from the street and the splendid panorama that, in the 1950s, the painter, artist and illustrator Mario Laboccetta fell in love. He was hosted by our family until his death in 1988. Later, in the 1990s, the house underwent an initial renovation by the heirs of great-grandfather Andrea. Then, in 2023, we passionately and lovingly renovated the rooms again. It is from the 1950s to today that this house, for our family, is affectionately identified with "Casa Laboccetta".
