This is a completely refurbished chestnut storehouse, surrounded by chestnut trees, right in the middle of the beautiful Apuan Alps; you can have excursions to amazing places like the majestic Pania della Croce, the incredible prairie of Campocatino...or visits the many old villages of the area (the Medieval centers of Careggine or Castelnuovo)...or simply have a rest under our patio!

The house is a completely refurbished old "metato" (a place used in the past to store chestnuts); it is surrounded by chestnut trees and has its own garden (completely fenced). It's a great place for excursions on the beautiful landscapes of the Apuan Alps (one the several trekking paths of the area is passing right beside our house). The whole area is full of old small villages which worth a visit...and when you are tired you can simply rest under the patio!
