An heaven of peace immersed in the greenery, 6 kms away from the centre of Noto and 20 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Val di Noto: Baglio del Picchio has a wonderful annex that belongs to an ancient farmhouse with a private pool, recently renovated and equipped with every comfort of a modern house where the owners live all year round, with whom the guests will share the outdoor spaces. Located in San Corrado Fuori le Mura in the beautiful context of the "Valle dei Miracoli", the accommodation features a living room with a sofa bed and kitchenette with a portable induction hob for breakfast; for full meals, the outdoor kitchen with a portable induction hob can be used, together with all the cooking tools at guests’ disposal. A bedroom on the mezzanine floor completes the indoors, coming with a queen size bed and enriched by exposed beams. Moreover, the annex comes with a practical bathroom with a shower. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a garden with a pool and an outdoor shower, a patio and a barbecue area where to cook delicious dinners in the open-air, in addition to a relaxing area with a hammock and a small table to chill while reading a book in the shade of olive trees. Among the protected assets you can find the Cathedral of Noto, the most important catholic place of worship in the city. Also in the centre, Palazzo Ducezio is not to be missed, a true gem of baroque architecture which houses the famous Sala degli Specchi (“Hall of Mirrors”). Toward the coast stands the natural oasis of Calamosche Beach, declared in 2005 as “the most beautiful beach in Italy” for its crystal clear waters.
