Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment. Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox. In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm. The property is located within the Restricted Traffic area, ideally located for visiting the city on foot, immersing yourself in the characteristic atmosphere of the Ronchi and the alleys of Ortigia ***Taxi service from/to Catania Airport available upon request*** ADDITIONAL SERVICES: unlimited wifi, split A/C with heat pump, fan, iron and ironing board, clothesline, clothes stand, hairdryer. Towels and bed linen included (with optional changes for a fee). Smart TV (no antenna). Availability on request of cot and high chair for children. ATTENTION: only the apartment on the second floor can access the terrace. THE UMBRELLA IS NOT PRESENT ON THE TERRACE.

Neighbourhood information

The building is located a few steps away from the Temple of Apollo, one of the most important monuments in Ortigia, the first one to have been erected in Syracuse. Datable to the beginning of the 6th century BC it is therefore the oldest Doric temple in Sicily, and it is possible to admire its remains directly from the apartment terrace located on the second floor. In three minutes on foot you can easily reach the daily market (every day except Sunday), a typical market full of local products and street food, where you can shop and eat local delicacies. The apartment is close to the mini bus stop, this will allow you to move easily around the city and reach the Archaeological Park of Neapolis with its Greek Theater, the San Giovanni catacombs, the Paolo Orsi museum, the Sanctuary of the Madonnina delle Lacrime. PLEASE NOTE: Ortigia is located in the Traffic-Restricted Area -ZTL in Italian- (closing days and times depending on the season).
