The country house, in the heart of a small medieval hamlet two miles north of Foligno, lies in the foothills of lush mountains. The ideal place to escape the daily grind. The property is part of a 17th Century lovingly restored building and a contemporary designed extension. Two-storey house. Main floor: one bathroom, one built-in kitchen and a huge open-plan living area opening up to the luxuriant garden through enormous and luminous french windows. At the first floor: two double bedrooms, with cabin, one bathrooms and outdoor balcony. Indoor mezzanine balcony: chill out corner.
All the facilities you could need within easy reach: a grocery store, a small artisan bakery, pharmacy, post office with ATM, a café, a traditional Umbrian Trattoria and an award-winning historical Italian extra-virgin olive oil mill. The most practical location to be both cut off from the world and at the same time only a few miles from the most attractive Central Italy sightseeing. 5 mins drive from Altolina Nature Reserve with its waterfalls and trails. 20 mins drive from Central Italy's most beautiful gems: Assisi, Spello, Trevi, Montefalco, Bevagna. 30 mins drive from Perugia and Spoleto.
