Welcome to Villa Paradiso, A Villa for rent in the beautiful scenic Piemonte area in Northern Italy. The House is for rent throughout the year. Villa Paradiso is located on a ridge with a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyards and landscapes of Montefaro, which is one of the areas that has a ‘World Heritage’ status given by UNESCO due to its unique and authentic culture and landscapes. The villa is located in the heart of the barbera vineyards combining beautiful view and a big attractive multipurpose outdoor area (grill area, outdoor eating place, sunbathing) with complete privacy. From the villa there are walking distance (15 min thru vineyards) to the nearest village Calamandrana.

We are couple of architects and both had a strong love for Italy after having spent many great holidays here. Over time our interest for Piemontes unique food and culture grew, and this led to us buying this old house from 1870 in Calamandrana in 2010. We used our architectural skills to renovate the house to our taste. We tried our best to combine new and modern style and forms with the original old elements. The renovation took some time – there were almost of six years of ups and downs, happiness and despair, as well as close encounters with the Italian construction culture at its best and its worst. Still, we managed to complete the project according to the plans we had made. We are very pleased with the results of all this work, and we are looking forward to inviting you to come, judge for yourself and experience this beautiful house and its extraordinary location. We are working and living in Norway, villa is empty and guest vill have disposisjon of all property, apart of couple of rooms , on second floor, which are closed and marked private. Sometimes will owners, one of us, staying on permisser, but its private and will not disturb the guests. Guest will be meet on location by host Marta , or Beata who can help with all matters of villa and neighborhood (f. ex. rent a bike).

The house is situated approximately 140 km from Milan’s two airports; Malpensa and Linate, and it’s about a one hour drive from Genoa and the Mediterranean coastline. The closest train stations are Alessandria and Nizza Monferrato. Other noteworthy cities to visit nearby are Torino, Asti, Canelli, Alba and Aqui Terme, to name a few. In neighborhood is located many excellent restaurants, which serves local cuisine or very sophisticated variations of it. Also wine tasting is easy arranged in many of local vineyards. As black, and later white truffle season is starting in early autumn and continue to December, many villages has wonderful markets and parties arranged.
