Wave Villa is a modern architect designed beach house situated in a small, quiet fishing village less than 100 km from Tokyo. One minute walk to a beautiful 2km wide white sandy surf beach, the house has 4 large bedrooms a spacious kitchen, dining area, a cosy sunken lounge and a spacious roof top bbq area. We can accomodate 8 people comfortably with space for up to 10 guests. Perfect for families. Onjuku is easily accessible by express train or car from Tokyo, Narita and Haneda. The house is less than 10 minutes walk from the station.
Joe and Chiyomi live nearby in Onjuku and will greet you on arrival and show you all the amenities. They can recommend places to see and dine.
Onjuku has a long history as a fishing town, famous for the "Ama san" female abalone divers. It boasts 2 fishing ports, a beautiful surf beach and delicious fresh seafood restaurants. It is a quiet getaway from bustling Tokyo. In summer Onjuku is transformed into a busy beach resort offering many outdoor sporting options. There are many golf courses in the surrounding area, onsen, beautiful forests and rivers and great fishing and surfing spots.
