1) Machakos Peoples’ Park
An awesome get away for you, a couple, a family or even a group of school children. It's a beautiful park which looks more like a garden. The park is huge and has seats and gazebos all around. There is even a conference center within the park. As for the amenities, there are very clean toilets, they have two restaurants and there is even a police station on site. For entertainment, there is a maze which is rare in Kenya today, swings, zip lining, horse rides, camel rides, bike rides, bouncing castles, you can also come with food and have a picnic etc. just to mention but a few. Over the weekend adults/kids will have the time of their lives. Best of all, there is no entrance fee.
