Urban Oasis is situated off Kisumu Kakamega Rd 200 meters from Shirere Shopping Mall. In a quiet family friendly neighborhood. It is within walking distance to the town centre (if you enjoy walking). Otherwise, you can always use wasili cabs (downloadable on playstore), or a tuk tuk or motorbike at less than 1 USD.

Urban Oasis you are close enough to the town center yet shielded from its hustle and bustle. You can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset while you enjoy your favorite drink from the balcony. Kakamega forest and the crying stone are a must visit while you are here, if your time allows, around 20 minutes drive from the town center. Note that the forest has several access gates. Kakamega is a small town with no traffic, you can therefore reach anywhere within town in around 10 minutes. If you'd like to hit the gym, Body flex Gym at Masinde Muliro University is decent and affordable. For a swim, Golf Hotel is good enough (although it can get crowded during the week) For shopping, Khetias supermarket and Quick mart are on either side of the governor's office. On the way to Chandarana you'll also pass by the open air market where you can get an assortment of fresh groceries from vendors at affordable prices. While in Western, make a point of enjoying the variety of yummy traditional vegetables available....mrenda, seveve, nderema, dodo (the list is endless).
