The Fortress is located along the beach, on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It offers spacious accommodation, an outdoor pool and 2 restaurants. Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free. The Fortress is a 15-minute drive from Unawatuna and a 20-minute drive from Galle. Koggala Airport and Koggala Lake are about 5 km away. The resort has luxurious accommodation featuring a mixture of modern and colonial architecture. All rooms are air-conditioned and have private balconies. They are well-equipped with facilities like flat-screen TV and a minibar. The Fortress offers a fully equipped fitness centre. Guests can relax at the Ayurvedic lounge and enjoy massages and spa treatments. The hotel’s sauna and hot tub are other great relaxation options. Guests can enjoy authentic Sri Lankan specialities and Mediterranean dishes at the restaurants. The hotel offers great outdoor dining experience as well. Extra person policy of the resort is;
USD 80 per adult per night inclusive of taxes and breakfast
USD 21 per child per night inclusive of taxes and breakfast (3 – 11 years)
Children below 2 years will be free of charge.
Early check in and late checkout can be pre-booked upon contacting the hotel reservations team directly.
Personal babysitting service can be pre-booked at USD 10 per hour.
Please note that a valid credit should be submitted at the time of booking and the name of the credit card holder must be the same as the guest's name and original credit card must be presented to the hotel on arrival. The name on the presented credit card must also match the name on the presented identification card / passport.
The property does not accept third-party credit card payments.
For safety reasons, guests who fail to present the same credit card used to guarantee the booking, will be kindly asked to settle the payment again upon arrival by cash or a new credit card and the deposit charged from the submitted credit card at the time of booking will be refunded to the same credit card.
Please note that there's a mandatory Gala Dinner Supplements for 24th & 31st December for Extra Beds & Children are as follows:
- USD 155 per adult and USD 78 per child between 3 - 11 years applicable on 24th December
- USD 205 per adult and USD 102 per child between 3 - 11 years applicable on 31st December
