Hi! The place that we are renting was our first home as a family. We still live in the area. Just needed a bigger place. Recently renovated and upgraded to all the Malta Tourist Authority but still having the family elements throughout. The property is on the second level of a corner block of just four apartments. The apartment has a lot of natural light. The other three apartments are all residential properties. The apartment comes with a private washroom and a private roof.
I am new at this venture but customer care runs in my blood. For twenty years I owned a corner grocery shop, which was my pride and passion. One of my priorities was that my customers were satisfied with both products and service. Unfortunately due to health reasons I had to let go. I love the outdoors, Mgarr is surrounded with beautiful walking tracks. I love the beach, (lucky to have one down the road) and now that I have more time on my hands I travel abroad.
The apartment is in the centre of the beautiful village of Mgarr. Bus stop is a couple of steps away and you can reach all the island. Hundred steps down is one of Malta's oldest temples, Ta' Hagrat Temples. Other famous landmarks like Mosta Dome and Mdina are only 15 minutes away by car. With the Maltese people, Mgarr is famously known for rabbit stew. Throughout the village one can find various restaurants, which specialise in this speciality, that can be reached within walking distance. Other local dishes and traditional foods, like pizza and pastas are also added to their menus. Strawberries (Frawli in Maltese) is also famously connected to our beautiful village. If your will be visiting at the end of March or April check for the date of Festa Frawli, which is an annual one day celebration that gets better by the year.
