... I enjoy meeting new people. We hate self checkins but when we are not available we have to resort to it. We will do our best to meet up with our guests to explain the area and Malta in general. Rabat is my home city, I grew up here and know it inside out :)

Hello. This is Malatina. Malatina is a small house situated in a quiet residential area of Rabat. It is small(ish) but full of character. This place was run down for 13 years and was renovated by my father and myself respecting most of the old elements present in the existing house. This includes old tiles, all internal walls and other items.. Malatina was the actual name of an old lady that lived there for most of her life. Wish she would see it this way :).

Neighbourhood information

Neighbourhood is a quiet residential one. Although not in the city main centre, the centre can be reached via a short (10 minute) stroll through the narrow characteristic alleys Rabat has to offer. Mdina is around 15 minutes by walk and there are several coffee shops and places of interest we can recommend that are easily accessible by walk. Rabat is full of character. Being close to Mdina it used to serve as a supplement city to our Old capital city. It is full of unique areas and being set over a hill one can enjoy a relaxing view across malta as there is ample countryside while staying in village. There are unique places within 15 minutes such as Dingli Cliffs and surrounding areas.
