With an idyllic beachfront location overlooking the Indian Ocean, this boutique guest house provides 22 spacious rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. It features an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms at The Bay are decorated in white and grey with a dash of pink or turquoise. They have an en suite bathroom with an open shower and a hairdryer. Rooms are air conditioned and fitted with ceiling fans. Set in a tropical garden, the open-air restaurant offers al fresco dining under a thatched roof. In the morning guests can enjoy a continental or English breakfast while admiring views of the lagoon. The bar is open all day, and the restaurant at The Bay also offers live music entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. Guests can make use of bicycles and explore the village. Surfing at Tamarin Bay is only 2 km away. Other nearby leisure activities include kite surfing, scuba diving and swimming with dolphins. The Bay is a 5-minute walk from Black River town centre with its many shops, bars and restaurants. Sir Seewoosagur Airport is a one-hour drive away and free private parking is possible on site.
