Welcome to the jungle condo! We made this place unique, colorful and fun! I visit the condo often with any spare time, so the place feels like home to me. The reason for choosing Akumal is because it is so quiet and it feels very safe. Every time I have to leave, I wish i could stay another week. We love to go diving at Akumal dive shop (5 mintues away) and snorkeling at the beach there, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the condo! phone, via text or what's app, also email.

it's very quiet, SECURE and peaceful here. we are off the highway, towards the beach. a car is best here, but it can be done with taxis and the collectivo. a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) and you have dive shops and snorkeling areas, a lot of people watching and a couple restaurants & bars. there are also quite a few cenotes within a 10 minute drive. Santamar is staffed by security guards, 24/7. it feels very safe here. after a nice day out exploring, relax on our mezzanine and enjoy the panoramic views of the jungle and the sunset. we have parking, it is a quiet cul de sac, easy to get here from the cancun airport in a rental car or a shuttle can get you here! Rental cars are awesome, and driving is actually pretty fun in Mexico! you can get by without a car, but there is much more to do if you have one.
