This brand new apartment (8 x 4 m) is nice and comfy. The apartment has a very comfortable double bed (Serta 2.1 x 1.8) and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and fridge. There is another sleeping possibility for one or two kids on a comfortable sofa bed. From the cosy seating area you can watch television or a movie on Netflix. A good working wifi is available and is just like Netflix included. For the apartment is a smal terrace with a beautiful view on the meadows and the water of the Unesco monument Fort Edam. A tripple A location. A quiet and safe place to stay with lots of privacy. Minimum stay is 3 nights. In the immediate vacinity (200 m) is a restaurant and the campsite "Strandbad" where you can use for two euro's e.p. a whole day play and swimming facilities. Free swimming is available in the "Markermeer" just 400 metres away. You can reach the centre of Amsterdam by car or public transport in about half an hour. The possession or use of (soft)drugs is strickly prohibited!

Edam is a very nice historic town, with cosy terraces, a museum and in the summer on wednesday Cheesemarket. You can make beautiful bicycle tours along the dike, visit Volendam or Marken by boat. By car or bus you can reach the centre of Amsterdam in about half an hour. In the same time you can drive to the Zaanse Schans, a very beautiful part of the Netherlands with historical windmills. We realize that we live in a unique location and enjoy this privilege a number of days per year to share with customers who can appreciate this. This one room apartment is located in the basement of our house and has its own entrance through a corridor and a small slope that may be slightly less suitable for guests who are disabled. Minimum stay is 3 nights.
